OpenTensile™ modular test systems · CompositePals® engineering consulting
EngineeringPals is the parent company behind OpenTensile™ modular mechanical test systems and CompositePals® engineering consulting. We support researchers, startups, and manufacturers that need robust engineering delivered at pace—clear analysis, defensible testing, and professional technical communication—without the friction of a large consultancy.
Our work sits at the intersection of mechanical testing, FEA and data-driven engineering, and practical prototyping. That means we do not just produce plots or prototypes; we focus on delivering outputs that stand up to scrutiny: defined assumptions, traceable inputs, sensitivity checks where needed, and conclusions you can act on.
EngineeringPals exists because too many development programmes lose time and money to avoidable uncertainty: unclear test requirements, inconsistent data capture, over/under-modelled analysis, or results that can’t be reproduced or explained. We aim to reduce that risk by making testing and engineering decisions more reliable—through disciplined methods, clean documentation, and delivery that is easy to integrate.
OpenTensile™ is our product line: compact, modular test systems designed to bring high-quality mechanical testing closer to where work happens—on R&D benches, in SMEs, and near manufacturing lines. The intent is simple: make repeatable testing more accessible, more connected, and more practical to deploy.
CompositePals® is our consulting practice: engineering services spanning composites and structures, simulation and optimisation, test planning, and technical reporting. The CompositePals pages go deeper on scope, example packages, and how to engage—while EngineeringPals provides the umbrella context, leadership, and the unifying standards of how we operate.
Ultimately, our goal is to help teams build and validate better technology—faster and with more confidence—by pairing disciplined engineering consulting with a product roadmap that improves how testing is performed, captured, and reused.
